Lovers of making beautiful things with their own hands, these ideas can come in handy. The first option can be used even in art lessons with children of almost any age. The second one is more time consuming, but the result is worth it. Shall we proceed?
Candlestick made of clay and beads.
A bowl or a small basin,
Beads of the same color, but different shades or beads,
A tea candle.
Clay mash and pour a small amount of water for several hours. During this time, water will impregnate all the pieces and grains of clay and clay can easily be kneaded to uniformity. The work, frankly speaking, is dirty.
If you do not plan to work with clay right now, the soaked clay should be wrapped in a damp cloth and put in a cellophane bag. Clay does not dry for several days.
A piece of clay the size of a large apple rolls into a ball.
On the surface of the ball there should be no cracks and obvious irregularities. Press the tea candle into the ball like this.
It remains to decorate the candlestick with beads. I used green in different shades.
A handful of beads left on one candlestick. Pour the seed beads evenly on the oilcloth and start rolling out the candlestick so that the beads are pressed into the clay. And so on all sides, until the candlestick becomes smooth.
A few days later the clay will dry and the candlestick will be completely ready. You can put the heating on the boiler and it will go faster.
Candlesticks from cans.
These are very effective candlesticks, which will be appropriate not only for New Year’s Eve, but also will be able to decorate your garden in the summer.
We will need:
Banks with self-opening lids – 2 pcs.,
Tea candles – 2 pcs.,
Paint aerosol – 1-2 colors,
With the help of a pencil we make a thematic, but simple drawing. By the new year I painted a Christmas tree and a ball. Glue the picture glue to the banks.
When the glue dries, drill small holes on the contour of the pattern with the drill.
Remove the paper, wash the jars of the glue and dry.
We paint with an aerosol paint in some neutral color. And, in fact, everything!
It remains to wait for the paint to dry out and put candles inside the cans. Here, that turns out.
